The "Absorbed Glass Mat" construction allows the electrolyte to be suspended in close proximity with the plates active material. The AGM batteries are a variant of the Sealed battery, just a more advanced design.
Perfect for HouseBoat Solar installations and an ideal replacement for those high maintenance and volatile "Lead Acid" type batteries.

For AGM batteries, the typical absorption voltage range 14.4 to 15.0 volts; typical float voltage range 13.2 to 13.8 volts.
This is where the Victron AGM Solar controller with its "AGM programmed" charging cycle controller stands on its own.
